Sue Cudmore

CHAIRPERSON


Sue is a Registered Nurse, previously specialised in Paediatric and Neonatal care, with a Post Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Intensive Care and a Masters of Public Health (UNSW).

Sue was selected to participate in a Leadership Scholarship Program (Disability Sector) – funded by NSW Department of Families and Community Services in 2014.

Sue is the businesses lead subject matter expert on home care and disability support, and leads the organisations Risk, Clinical Governance and Quality functions. Sue has previously been a lead consultant providing onsite quality and accreditation support services to a number of hospitals and community centres, and has facilitated a number of hospital governance committees.


Tatum Steers

VICE-CHAIRPERSON


Tatum Steers – Bachelor of Commerce (HR & Marketing), Diploma Quality Auditing. 

Tatum is an experienced Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the health care, education and not-for-profit sectors.

Specific to the community sector, Tatum has held various senior positions including Operations Manager and Head of Quality at Aged & Disability care providers operating throughout Australia.

Currently, Tatum works as an NDIS Approved Quality Auditor, and is Co-Founder of Hirey, an online marketplace for sourcing pre-screened Aged & Disability talent, ready for hire.

Damon Ashton

TREASURER


Damon has enjoyed long working relationships within the disability sector (30 years’ experience) including but not limited to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (formerly the Spastic Centre of NSW), Australian Quadriplegic Association and the Home Care Service of NSW.

Jayne Ward

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Jayne is the Director of You First Disability & Aged Care Services. Before working in the community sector, Jayne held senior leadership roles in people, risk, and corporate governance working in consulting and large corporates delivering innovative and transformational change strategies to a range of diverse businesses around the world.

Jayne is a Certified Practitioner of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Chartered Secretary, Chartered Governance Professional, and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute.

Anil Bhakri

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Anil is the Managing Director of ADS Care. Within this role, Anil combines his passion for disability care, fuelled by his previous experiences as a Care Support Worker, and strong commercial acumen from his time at multinational companies in senior Sales Management roles.

 

Anil is committed to adopting a people-centred approach, consistently finding ways to deliver higher levels of care and safety for participants. This is complemented with his analytical and strategic expertise, allowing Anil to provide a unique perspective to improve standards within the industry and community. 

Barbra McCauley

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Barbra has worked for Complete Care Team since 2002 and have recently tasked with the establishing of the Blacktown Branch .  As Branch Manager Barbra has been a key participant in the development and implementation of polices & procedures to assist the organisation in gaining and maintaining certification to the ACIS 2018 standards. 

I have been able to successfully grow the Blacktown branch whilst maintaining a strong commitment to providing High Quality Support to participants. 

Barbra is passionate about continuous improvement in the industry and I am looking forward to working with ACIA to support providers in the Aged and Disability sector to meet the quality service needs of participants with a focus on individualised care. 

Trudy Minett

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


With 30 years of experience in personal injury insurance, Trudy Minett is an experienced executive managing schemes that support people with disability. She was the Chief Executive at the Motor Accident Commission and Lifetime Support Authority, as well as holding executive roles at ReturnToWorkSA.


She has extensive experience in operational management, strategic planning, governance and risk management, and is committed to person-centred practices and decision-making.

Dr. Nicole Brooke

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER


Associate Professor Nicole Brooke is committed to improving the quality of care and service provision in the community sector. Nicole has a strong background in clinical governance, corporate governance, workforce, clinical leadership, quality management and compliance, education and supervision, safeguarding, diversity and advocacy, operational management, research, and government relations. Nicole has more than 25 years’ experience across residential, community and disability care sectors including commencing as a support worker and progressing as a Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.

Nicole has an academic background which includes the completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Case Management in Care, Masters of Education, Masters of Leadership, Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation, Graduate Certificate in Aged Care, and Bachelor of Nursing. She additionally holds qualifications in auditing, policy development, workplace training, return to work, workplace health and safety, food safety, training, and immunisation, and has a passion for career development and community outreach.  Nicole holds a partnership Adjunct Professor role with University of Canberra.

Danielle Grech

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CEO


Danielle is an experienced executive assistant who comes with a great deal of passion and enthusiasm for improving the quality care of clients in community care. 

Danielle has a strong background in administrative management, financial support, customer service and quality management.
